Memorial Tunku Abdul Rahman

Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj is a great statesman who respected and loved by all rayat country.Tunku loyal service as a pioneer and innovator of independence is the most valuable contribution in the history of this country. Tunku's name and contribution will be written with gold ink in our history.

As a token of appreciation and memory of the nation the services of the late Tunku, the government has set up the Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial in Residency building (next to the Prime Minister) Jalan Dato 'Onn, Kuala Lumpur. In addition, two new buildings of modern design was built adjacent to this building. Residency is very historic building of the late Tunku because it is a historic place for the late Tunku because it is the official residence of the Tunku Abdul Rahman (as Chief Minister of Malaya, 1956-1957, Federation of Malaya Prime Minister Prime Minister of Malaysia 1957-1963 and 1963-1970 ) until late retirement.

The establishment of this Memorial is to keep and preserve all materials, treasure the late Tunku Abdul Rahman before, during and after the late Prime Minister. Materials related to the accumulated late will be displayed to visitors. Exhibited the materials will be able to disseminate all information related to the Tunku and can provide reference and research facilities to the public. Tunku Abdul Rahman Memorial Exhibition will be able to provide knowledge and awareness to the public in relation to the struggle of the late Tunku and can raise the spirit and love for the country.
